The trip was wonderful and went very smoothly. Very pleased with the Gate 1's arrangements. Flights were as convenient as possible, driver met us at airport, hotel Sini Bernini Bristol was in great location in Rome. The information sent to us from Gate 1 prior to trip was thorough and useful. This was our 4th trip to Rome so visited many of the lesser known sites. Following Rome visit spent a week at a villa NE of Rome for a culinary experience and olive harvest, La Cucina Sabina. Very happy with Gate 1, will use again

My trip was amazing! Our tour manager Lynn was great, the tours were good, we all enjoyed the location of the hotel right on the piazza, all the flights were on time. Really enjoyed Montecatinini. The bus was clean, comfortable and driven by a good driver. I think I enjoyed that the tour was not full, and we were able to move faster through some sites, and enjoy extra room on the bus. Thanks for a great experience, I am already looking forward to the next one!

Our trip was amazing!!! Giorgio was a fantastic tour guide and took great pains to ensure that everyone was happy ensuring all desires, no matter how big or small, were met. The hotel accommodations we excellent and the meals provided were very appetizing. The tours and tour guides were excellent and very knowledgeable of their area. They answered questions and explained everything clearly. I would not hesitate to recommend Gate 1 tours to anyone. It was a wonderful trip.

We had a wonderful trip! I was nervous initially because I have never been on a tour. I realized if we would have went on our own without the tour we would not have seen half of the historical places and magnificent views and that we did. Our tour guide, Flavia, was absolutely so sweet, knowledgeable and a pleasure each and every day. She made you feel at home. I would certainly recommend Gate 1 Travel to all of my friends and family!

Our trip was awesome. We had no troubles. The hotels were ideally located and were of excellent quality. The breakfast they provided was great. The airport transfers were timely and easy and the train travel was also great. Our Vatican tour was superb. The Ancient Rome tour and Pisa tour were very enjoyable. We cannot wait to return to Italy. We cannot say enough good things about Gate 1. You guys handled everything perfectly and we will recommend you to others.

Our trip to Italy was amazing, incredible and spectacular!!! Gate 1 did an outstanding job! Every detail was executed flawlessly. Our tour guide, Patricia, was exceptional. She was informative and extremely knowledgeable about all the points of interest visited in Italy. She was also extremely helpful, caring and concerned for our group. She was also quite witty. We will certainly consider Gate 1 again on our next trip.

Oh my goodness, we truly enjoyed this trip. So nice to see places we've never been to. Our tour Manager Myriam was the best tour manager yet, and we don't say this lightly - we've been on 11 Gate 1 tours! She was engaging, fun, knowledgeable and really kept the trip interactive. We'd love to do another tour with her any time! The hotels and food were fabulous, especially Grand Hotel Miramare. Our bus driver Roberto was excellent. We honestly could offer no criticism. We're looking forward to our next Gate 1 trip!

Our latest adventure with Gate 1 to Northern Italy and the Lakes region to celebrate out 50th anniversary was all one could expect. As this was our fourteenth trip with Gate 1, we have come to expect nothing less than an excellently planned package and we were not disappointed! From the well appointed and conveniently located hotels, the many wonderful culinary experiences we enjoyed to the unique sights and vistas along the way, nothing was lacking. Our wonderful tour guide Sonia was extraordinary in her attentiveness and desire to accommodate, enlighten and educate all participants of our tour. Already looking forward to next fall’s adventure to attend the Passion play at Oberammergau with Gate 1!

OMG, our trip was amazing. The best trip I’ve ever been on. Every detail was perfect. Everything that Gate 1 promised was delivered beyond our expectations. AND, our tour guide Johnny was the best I’ve ever had. I can’t say enough about him. He provided us with so much relevant information every step of the way, and he was extremely likable and witty and loads of fun. He definitely went above and beyond what I would expect of a tour guide. In fact, I would purchase another trip based solely on the fact that he would be my tour guide. Our entire group loved him. He made our vacation perfect, and we also had an exceptionally nice group of people on our tour. Everyone was friendly and got along, and no one was ever late or difficult. As you probably know, in every group there is usually that one person who complains about everything, but, we did not have anyone that was negative in any way. I formed some friendships that I will continue to pursue. The only bad thing is that I will truly miss the wonderful people in our tour group (40 people), but most of all Johnny our tour guide. To sum it up, Gate 1 was like a well-oiled machine. Everything worked perfectly, and you get everything that is advertised. No surprises or hidden costs. You get a high quality tour for a reasonable price. I would recommend Gate 1 to everyone.

Wow! Truly one of the best vacations we have ever had. Dani (tour guide) was fantastic - took special care of my 6'7" husband with seating on the bus and even put together a large table for our family and two other families since our children became fast friends, the driver Luigi lulled everyone to sleep with his excellent driving, all the guides were knowledgeable and the Gate 1 employee that met us at the airport in Naples at 4:00 a.m. was a godsend. We got to know just about everyone (40) personally on the tour and made many new friends. Extremely pleased that there were young people on the trip - my daughter (18 years) really had a great time ... In fact, one of the girls she met is going to Boston University and will be living on the same street as my daughter who will be attending Berklee College of Music and they are just 15 minutes from one another. We are even talking to the other families about another trip to Egypt or Spain!! Yes, this was a great trip from Gate 1 Travel.

This Italy trip was AMAZING!!! A trip which I will cherish for my entire life. Not only did I make some new friends on the tour, but I also wanted to congratulate ViVi our guide tour for an exceptional job. We had a lot of surprises along the way, such as eating lunch at the Vatican city, tasting local espresso in Naples and all of the local recommendations which were made by her. As usual, we all wanted more time in certain areas but knew we were on a time schedule. Definitely will come back to Italy to explore!!! Our driver was exceptional and ensuring we had a good time on the bus during all of our local stops and long drive along the Amalfi Coast. I did a lot of shopping and was very pleasantly greeted by Marianna at the airport who ensured all of my pieces of luggage were taken care of safely and sound, until my arrival back home to the US!! She was amazing!!! I would take this trip a thousand times over, but with Vivi!!! What a phenomenal woman!!! Can not wait for my next trip next year celebrating my 60 bday!!! Thank you for having this trip and making sure you pick the best tour guides!!!

It was wonderful! Our tour guide, Francesco was very knowledgeable and took care of everything. We had a great group of fellow travelers and enjoyed sharing our experiences with them. We learned a lot about the history of each city as well as the beautiful scenery. The food was delicious and the accommodations were good. It was very hot most of the time which was very tiring but we were still able to enjoy everything. We would definitely travel with Gate 1 again and will tell all of our friends and relatives about our experience. We really have no negative comments about the trip. Our trip with Gate 1 river cruises was amazing. The boat, captain, staff, chef, and cruise director were professional, well-informed, and friendly. Lorin, the cruise director, really made our trip. All excursions, guided tours, and transportation were flawless. It was an incredible trip and we will be back. Way to go Monarch Princess!!

The trip was fantastic- one of the best trips we ever took. The river cruise was terrific- the cabin, dining room and lounges were beautiful. The ship crew was so friendly. The food on the ship was excellent. Our cruise director, Katerina, worked so hard to make every one happy and she succeeded. The evening entertainment with Amir was so much fun. We are telling our friends to take a river cruise with Gate 1.

It was absolutely fantastic!!! We had a marvelous time. Our fabulous tour guide Maria was AWESOME!!! She was Professional, knowledgeable, classy, fun, personable, and kind. Our family can sometimes be a little challenging but she handled us with such great care, respect, patience, and kindness. She kept us on schedule and moving to ensure our tour of Italy exceeded our expectations and it did!!! We are already planning our next trip with Gate 1.

The trip to Italy was beyond amazing! Our tour manager, Lorena, was absolutely superb with her professionalism, humor, kindness, and friendliness. We had a great time on the Monarch Baroness. Arrived to an immaculately clean ship kept that way by hardworking house staff. Cabins were very comfortable with better storage than I expected. We were blessed with mostly good weather & no problems with low or high water levels. Special mention to our cruise director George. The guy has everything covered & does it with good humor. Ably assisted as he was by activities director Laura. Would happily take another European River cruise with Gate 1.

Awesome! We enjoyed every minute of it. The best part was our tour guide Luca and our bus driver Katerina. The countryside is beautiful, and the food was delicious. My favorite part of the trip was going to the Tuscan Farm and Assisi. I would do the trip again in a heartbeat. Only I would have to be promised Luca and Katerina would do it also thank you for everything Gate 1!

The river cruise was absolutely perfect. The staff was so accommodating from the minute we landed in Budapest until we left Munich. Arnon and Karol were so attentive to our needs from day 1 when we arrived at the ship. They couldn't do enough to make our trip a memorable one. The entire staff was always willing to attend to our needs. Day tours and special events ran very smoothly with the color coded tickets and boarding passes. The weather was rainy but following each day tour the staff was waiting for us at the ship with smiles, hot towels and warm drinks. Great personal touch continually. The waiters in the restaurant were always pleasant and accommodating. The bartenders always had a smile. The DJ was fantastic as we danced and sang the nights away. This is the third time we traveled with Gate 1 and will be planning more trips in the future, inviting some of our other friends This company certainly dots every I and crosses every t. Thank you to Gate 1 for helping us make such fabulous memories.

Again a wonderful trip with Gate 1!!!!!!!! Beautifully organized, wonderful accommodations and meals. Coach rides were very comfortable and I really appreciated the WIFi on the bus. By far the most important contribution to my enjoyment was directly related to our wonderful tour guide Andrea. He conveyed his sincere love for his country, was attentive and observant of everyone’s needs throughout the tour. His sendoff to the airport at 4 am was above our expectation. I will never travel with any other tour company than Gate 1.

She was constantly on the look out keeping track of everybody and making sure we were all safe and having a great time. She covered every single detail, every single day. My trip was absolutely wonderful! This was my first, but hopefully not last river cruise. Can't begin to tell you how wonderful it was and the staff on the Monarch Duchess was. From my first step toward the ship to my last step off the ship, someone was always there to greet me and ask if anything can be done for me. This was our first Gate 1 experience and I have to say it was magnificent!! We had the best time and saw so much. Our tour guide, Vanni was an incredible tour guide. He left nothing to doubt. Everything he recommended was fantastic, his knowledge was incredible and he made the wonderful experience of our visit to Italy the trip of a lifetime. Gate 1 exceeded our expectation of a tour. As I said this was our first and it won’t be our last. I hope on our next tour to who knows where we have a guide as wonderful as Vanni.

It was fantastic and a trip of a lifetime. Our guide, Vi, was the best. She was outgoing, knowledgeable and watched over the group like a mother hen. The local guides were great too. This was my first trip to Europe and with Gate 1, and will use only you in the future.

It was awesome!!!!! Vivi, our tour guide, was outstanding; she payed attention to every detail, kept the group together and was very knowledgeable. The hotels were great and close to the attractions. We had a fabulous time. It was the most organized trip we have taken. Everything was on time and ran smoothly. Reno was so professional, knowledgeable and went far beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and that we were having the best experience we could have. The accommodations were good, the food was great. The planning of the itinerary was great. We had time to experience all the sites but were also given enough time in the schedules to eat, shop and experience the the culture of each city.

Our tour guide Daniella was wonderful- she was energetic, fun, and filled with lots of interesting facts about the different regions' history and culture. The tour was just the right mix of organized excursions and free time to wander and immerse yourself in the area. From the moment we got off the plane, there was no stress about making arrangements or figuring out how to get from point A to point B. Our honeymoon trip to Italy was just simply amazing. Our tour manager Susanna did a splendid job keeping us on track with the tour schedule and while providing as much knowledge about the areas we've visited and its history. My husband and I certainly adore her, she was kind, warm, professional, and we all felt very comfortable with her.
